What is the Passive Voice? | The opposite of Active Voice

What is Passive Voice?
Normally, when we speak we focus on the subject, as it is the main topic; however, in passive voice, the focus is directed to the object of the sentence.

The subject is something/*someone, who/that does/performs the action of the verb in the sentence.
With the passive voice , the subject is acted upon by some other performer/actor of the verb/action

Sentence structure

subject + verb + object

Active Voice
Doctors treat patients.

Passive Voice
Patients are treated by doctors.

Note: In the Passive sentence the ;
Subject becomes the agent/actor and the object becomes the subject and the verb changes to past participle. as seen above.
